The Journey
Oakridge
Your journey begins in Oakridge — Roatan’s “Venice.” This colorful fishing village floats above the water, its homes and shops built on stilts. Here, you’ll board your private boat and cruise past local life in action: fishermen casting nets, kids paddling dories, and families moving about by water.
Mangrove Tunnels
From Oakridge, we glide into ancient mangrove canals — natural passageways once used by pirates. These protected waterways twist and turn through tunnels of greenery, offering shade, serenity, and a chance to spot native birds and marine life. It’s a magical, slow drift into Roatan’s wilder side.
Port Royal
As we reach historic Port Royal, you’ll cruise across waters that once sheltered notorious pirates like Blackbeard. This scenic bay — surrounded by lush jungle hills — is still dotted with the remains of old forts and stone outposts. We’ll share stories of hidden treasure and colonial battles that shaped Roatan’s past.
St. Helene
Arriving in Helene feels like stepping into another world. With no cars and limited roads, life here is peaceful, authentic, and deeply rooted in tradition. You’ll visit the village, meet local families, and learn about their way of life — sustained by fishing, farming, and community strength.
Lunch at Channel Bar & Grill
No East End tour is complete without a meal at Channel Bar & Grill, a family-owned seaside eatery in Bentley Bay. Enjoy freshly caught fish, grilled lobster (in season), and island-style sides — all served with ocean views and island hospitality.
Snorkel & Explore Caves
Just off the shores of Helene lies some of the healthiest reef in the Caribbean — untouched, uncrowded, and teeming with life. We’ll provide gear and take you to one of our favorite local snorkel spots and guide you through the unique caves in Helene.
